This day in tech history, film rating system

48 years ago, the Motion Picture Association of America formed the rating system for movies that we use today (G, PG, PG-13, R). Back when it was formed the only ratings were G (General audiences), M (Mature audiences), R (16 and under had to have an adult with them), and X (16 and under weren’t allowed at all). Over the years it evolved into the rating system that we use today.
