This day in tech history, no more Pony Express

An 1860 Pony Express postmark

The Pony Express was mainly used to send messages between the East and West coasts of the US. Such a message would take around 10 days to send. 155 years ago the Pony Express was officially disbanded with the completion of the telegraph which allowed for much faster communication between the coasts.
